About this policy
This policy describes the current Pipefitter Field Tools release candidate and this product website. The mobile app is in release preparation. Store distribution and native device acceptance are still pending.
Data on your device
Pipefitter stores calculation history, recent cut and offset snapshots, rounding preferences, and named saddle layouts locally. Saved layouts include the name you enter, dimensions, marking table, units and source revisions. Reference databases and guide images are bundled with the app.
There is no app account, advertising or added analytics integration, and the app does not automatically upload your calculations to the developer. A personal credential wallet is not included.
Local app records are not encrypted by Pipefitter. Use your device screen lock and avoid saving confidential job details, NCCER credentials or other personal credentials in layout names.
Deletion and backups
Use the clear action in calculator, recent-cut or offset history to remove those records. Delete named saddle layouts individually from Saved layouts. History tools retain up to 50 recent records each; named saves remain until deleted.
Removing app data or uninstalling normally removes local records, subject to device backup and restore settings. Device backups may retain or restore copies. Local storage does not mean that records are excluded from your device’s cloud backups.
Copying, sharing and external links
Copy puts selected content on the system clipboard. Share opens the device sharing menu; you choose the recipient and service. Issue-report templates include app and platform versions, without automatically attaching calculation history or saved layouts.
External source and privacy links open your browser. Destination services receive the resulting requests. Information you send is handled by the recipient and service you choose.
Support correspondence
If you email support, your email address and the information you send are used to respond and investigate the issue. Email is handled through Gmail. To request deletion of support correspondence, contact cajunbypass@gmail.com. Copies may remain in service backups or where retention is required.
Please do not send payment information, personal credentials or confidential job records to support.
App stores and development previews
Apple and Google handle app acquisition, payment and distribution under their own policies. Pipefitter has no in-app purchase or subscription integration. The planned release is a one-time paid download.
Development previews through Expo Go may connect to development services to load the app. An installed release is the intended way to use the core tools offline. Those preview services and app stores have their own privacy practices.
This website
This website has no contact form, account registration, added analytics or advertising integrations. Email links open your email application; nothing is sent until you choose to send it.
The website is delivered through OpenAI Sites and Cloudflare. Hosting providers process requests needed to deliver and protect the site, which may include IP addresses and browser information. Their service policies apply to that processing.
