For a calculation, include the entered values, units, fitting selections, expected result and actual result. A screenshot can help.
Please leave out confidential job details, employer/customer records, personal credentials and payment information.
Before you send
- Check the units and the measurement endpoints.
- Review fitting coverage and any unsupported-combination message.
- Open Show Math when it is available.
- Tell us whether the issue repeats after reopening the tool.
App purchases and refunds are handled through the store where you obtained the app. Support does not need your card details.
Release status
Pipefitter Field Tools is in release preparation for iPhone, iPad and Android. Public store links will appear on this website when an approved release is available. This page does not offer a download or sell an app license.
What the tools cover
The app includes measurement calculations, supported fitting-to-cut deductions, offset geometry, centered saddle marking tables, selected weight estimates and bundled reference material. Coverage is selective by fitting family, size, schedule and class.
Working with the results
Verify actual fittings, measurement datums and job allowances. Custom-angle geometry does not establish fabricated fitting takeouts. Saddle tables model ideal outside surfaces and exclude wall thickness, bevel, root gap and kerf. Weight estimates include a 10% allowance and do not establish crane or rigging capacity.
Your saved information
Current app histories and layouts use unencrypted local storage and may be included in device backups. Avoid storing confidential job details or personal credentials. See the privacy policy for storage, deletion and support correspondence information.
